Six days before the election, flyers have turned up in Queens urging voters to support Rep. Joseph Crowley over Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez — who stunned the political world in June by defeating the veteran congressman in the Democratic primary.
Crowley, who remains on the ballot as the candidate of the Working Families and Women’s Equality Parties, says he has no idea who’s behind the flyers and doesn’t want people voting for him.
“Not running. Not campaigning. Shut down campaign operations months ago. Not circulating fliers. To whoever is: knock it off. Focus should be on electing Democrats to Republican seats. I’ve moved on, so should everyone else,” Crowley tweeted.
The flyers, which were first reported in the Bochinche column on Medium.com, say Crowley lost the primary because of “low turnout.”

Suppose this campaign on his behalf is actually successful and he gets the most votes. Does he intend to tell us he won't go back to DC even if he wins?

Not so sure. The only difference is that he has learned to hide what he wants in moderate language. His opponent is at least honest about her radical stance.
I think we do better when D’s are honest about what they want.
There has been a lot of speculation, almost from the day she won the primary, that he will run as an independent, win, and then become a democrat. The democrats are crazy, but they’re not stupid. they know she would be a catastrophe for them if she won.
So, naturally, I’m pullin’ for her. :-D

I don’t know. I’d be torn. Having a representative who moonlights as a cocktail waitress really isn’t a bad idea. LOL.
Ocasio-Cortez is nuttier than squirrel shit. Everyone knows this. So when she gets elected, I’d love to see Maxine Waters and Cortez side by side telling us what happened in the election and talking about how Democrats are the right choice for America. It would just be so funny. Two nutballs doing a simultaneous interview of sorts. What could possibly be better for Republicans?
