El Dia de los Muertos, or the Day of the Dead, is an ancient holiday that celebrates death and loved ones who've passed on.
Google on Thursday is joining the holiday, observed each year on Nov. 2, with its own Doodle altar to the dead. The celebration traditionally features gatherings in which families pray and remember relatives and friends who have died and help them with their spiritual journey.
Rather than mournful events, the holiday celebrates death as a part of the cycle of life, thereby dispelling fear of dying. The holiday also often serves as a source of comfort and community.
Those who observe the holiday adorn their homes and cemeteries with colorful ofrendas, or altars, surrounded by food such as pan de muertos (bread of dead) and pictures and mementos of deceased loved ones. Altars are commonly decorated with orange Mexican marigolds, sugar skulls and burning candles.
El Dia de los Muertos traces its roots to the Aztec empire, but the holiday has spread around the world, being absorbed by a variety of cultures wishing to honor their dead in a joyous rather than sorrowful manner. The holiday has also received greater attention since the release last year of Pixar's Coco, the tale of a boy who is magically transported to the colorful Land of the Dead, where he meets his late family members.

Google will not "celebrate" Christian holidays like Easter or Christmas with any doodles that even remotely reference the birth and passion of Christ, yet they "celebrate" this Satanic holiday, every year.

Google is not the friend of traditional American Culture, and what is does by its treatment of American culture is information about what to expect from it in the future, as it becomes more an more Leftist, totalitarian, and fascistic.
If you use google or its parent company’s products you are selling them the rope to hang you.
I’m not Mexican so I dunno what the flip they do down there in what certainly looks to me like Google’s sick, demented, and positively demonic version of All Souls Day.
And I hardly know how to explain this to people that aren’t in the Church and haven’t been sickened and disgusted by what has been going on in our ranks lately.
But I assure you of this. We serious Catholics ARE SICK AND FRICKING TIRED of the rampant immorality, overt paganism, and apostasy of so many in our ranks, including our hierarchy.
There is a traditionalist movement building in the Church right now that is part of God’s avenging arm. We will rise up and crush this filth and be a beacon of Christ the King to the world once more. It may take years or decades. But it will be done.
I don’t expect you to believe me right now. How could you when everything looks so black? I ask you just to keep your eyes open and watch.

Down in Texas, I see a lot of “Day of the Dead” paraphernalia in stores around this time and even some schools are known to celebrate this “holiday”.
I tend to find the celebration off-putting. I prefer to celebrate life and think it’s not the sign of a healthy society to have a fixation on death and the grotesque.
