A number of the comments here are focused on people voting illegally.
That’s an important problem, but the point of the post is that San Francisco has already given known illegal immigrants the right to vote in school board elections! And that’s just the nose under the tent, of course.
I get the nose under the tent argument, however it seems to be a bit of a tempest in a teapot to claim a direct line from “the right to vote in school board elections” to that of state and federal elections. I can see the state elections coming along a lot quicker in places like CA, which would be the real signal that fed election rights would not be far behind.
There was about the exact number of illegal alien self-reported votes (the % of illegals that stated they knowingly voted illegally in elections) for hillary as was the total of her popular vote margin over Donald Trump in CA. They know they don’t have the right to do it, but flout the law anyhow. This is the real issue; they break a law to get into the country, seek a sanctuary city/state, then continue doing things illegally with impunity because, well, heck they’re already law breakers.
