I would too if I was the CIA. Why wouldn’t you? All Congress ever does is bluster and stomp their feet. Maybe get Gowdy to say something scornful.

Congress could solidly sodomize the CIA anytime they so chose. They could defund them on a 50% vote. They could impeach the director of the CIA. They could literally abolish it with a 50% vote.
But they don’t. People will do what you let them get away with. You train people how to treat you.
You write as if Congress were a monolithic body.
They are not.
The CIA and the Media and the Democrats are more closely linked together, ideologically, than is Congress.
With support of more than 50% of the members of Congress for the past 50 years, the CIA never had to worry.
With a 50% vote, Congress could strip the CIA of civil service protection, and allow the President to fire a whole list of people, and replace them with whoever he chose.
