Maxine has enough seniority that she would be likely to be appointed head of the Finance Committee. Obviously, she wouldn't be "running" the finances of the country directly, but she would be setting the agenda for some very obnoxious hearings and bills.
Since she is obviously "a low IQ person," her agenda would be set for her by the greediest, most redistributionist members of the Democratic Party.
