The 2018 U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree was cut down in Oregon's very own Willamette National Forest Friday, Nov. 2, 2018. It's the second time the state has provided a Christmas tree to Washington D.C. The first tree, a Douglas fir, was provided by the Umpqua National Forest in 2002.

If it is a national forest, is is federally owned and managed. The state has little say in what goes on there, so the feds gave the feds a tree from the forest...

Portland is a cesspool of liberalism and gagging on it. Eugene and Ashland are also quite liberal, but Trump is very popular elsewhere in the state.
I think we have a very good shot of electing a REPUBLICAN governor on Tuesday. He's a RINO but would be a LOT better than the socialist disaster Kate Brown.
