COLUMBIA, Mo. — Standing in an airplane hangar in the mid-autumn chill awaiting the arrival of President Trump, Joan Philpott said she was angry and scared. Only Mr. Trump, she said, can solve the problems she worries most about.
“He wants to protect this country, and he wants to keep it safe, and he wants to keep it free of invaders and the caravan and everything else that’s going on,” said Ms. Philpott, 69, a retired respiratory therapist.
Ms. Philpott was one of thousands of women who braved a drizzle for hours to have the chance to cheer Mr. Trump at a rally here on Thursday. While political strategists and public opinion experts agree that Mr. Trump’s greatest electoral weakness is among female voters, here in Columbia and places like it, the president enjoys a herolike status among women who say he is fighting to preserve a way of life threatened by an increasingly liberal Democratic Party.

they are preparing the angry GOP theme for when they fail to take the house and lose seats in the Senate.
She’s right, though, Trump has become the indispensable man for us. He’s winning and teaching other conservatives how to fight back

Why should legal prescriptions users pay the price? While Street Junkies get $8.5 Billion, they aren’t going to get clean. We are soft targets as are our doctors, hospitals, while Junkies/Dealers are hard targets.
I’m a married woman & live in a large city. I’m not geriatric. I work in construction in addition to owning a business with my husband. Damn right I’m concerned about preserving our way of life - less crime, low taxes, less regulations, upholding our laws and constitutional rights. I don’t like liars, cheats,thieves, politicians high on power, criminals, bums, socialists, and ignorant snowflakes. They cause misery for all law abiding, decent people. If you saw me on the street, you’d probably think I was some uppity lefty because I live in a big city, get my hair done, wear makeup, drive a decent car, and I’m half Japanese. No one has ever polled me or asked me anything, so how do these media idiots know that all Trump voters must be white and geriatric? Ridiculous. My mother came here legally in the 60s. She barely spoke English and taught herself to speak the language, become a full citizen, and got a drivers license. She’s worked hard all her life. She absolutely hates the Democrats and looks at what’s happening in South America in horror.
Lol, democrats are so stupid. They always try to put everyone in boxes based on race, sex, whatever. I’d rather respect and acknowledge all people as unique individuals. We all have our own story, but we still help each other as Americans, not government. As soon as government gets involved, we’re all reduced to the lowest common denominator. Rant over.
