Republicans shed their blood and died to free the slaves...from the RATs.
Abraham Lincoln was a Republican. (not a democRAT)
Republicans gave blacks the right to vote.
Republicans formed the Negro College Fund.
Republicans created the NAACP.
The KKK was formed by Confederate (RAT) veterans to keep blacks from voting for Republicans.
Jim Crow laws came from the RATs.
The Klan were RATs.
The slave owners were RATs.
The segregationists were RATs.
Robert KKK Byrd was a RAT.

Are you saying that white guilt doesn't exist? It applies to Reps and Dems alike. It is more prevalent among Dems, but there is certainly an element within the GOP that has a paternalistic streak when it comes to blacks who know how to use it to influence policy and elections.

Political correctness is just one manifestation of white guilt. The kid gloves treatment of Obama is another. Many Reps are cowed by the fear of being called a racist.
