A friend of mine who is a builder used to buy lots for 20-40k to build the standard 1,000-1,300 sq. ft. home which now sells for 400-500k on a dry lot,not waterfront.
He just paid 150 k for his last lot.No telling where it will all go.
That’s a damn shame. I know North Georgia and North Carolina is infested with Yankees, but South Carolina???
Like Alabama, that’s God’s Country!!!
At least for whatever reason, masses of Yankees just don’t want to live here.
If any ask, tell them we’re all missing teeth, trailer park dwelling, sister-marryin’, meth-taking, gun-shootin’ Trump voters. A smart, urbane Northeasterner or Californian would absolutely HATE Alabama!!!
