It wasn’t so long ago when it was the Democrats who railed against trade agreements like NAFTA, GATT and the WTO. They decried the loss of America jobs to China and elsewhere. Remember the Democrat firebrands on this like the late Congressman James Trafficant from Ohio? When Democrats espoused these ideas back them they were lauded for defending working class Americans. Fast forward twenty plus years later President Trump has followed through on this agenda and then some. Now it’s called xenophobia!

One of the big revelations (to me) since 2016 is just how much the Left despises Nationalism. They think it's the same as Nazism. It's about the worst thing ever. That's why Globalism is so cool. Anyone who is patriotic and cares about the country they were born in, is just evil.

Individuals who want power and influence and money,as opposed to representing constituents, and looking out for the interests of this country, will run in any party where they have a chance of getting elected.
Whether it is communist, socialist, democrat,republican,independent etc.
Whatever you need behind your name to get elected , in this country it is a D or an R.
So we should expect some so-called republicans to be wolves in sheep's clothing, and for them to be American hating socialists or communists in disguise. - Tom
