You have a good point there.
Individuals who want power and influence and money,as opposed to representing constituents, and looking out for the interests of this country, will run in any party where they have a chance of getting elected.
Whether it is communist, socialist, democrat,republican,independent etc.

Whatever you need behind your name to get elected , in this country it is a D or an R.

So we should expect some so-called republicans to be wolves in sheep's clothing, and for them to be American hating socialists or communists in disguise. - Tom
