It’s a measure of just how insular their little world really is that anyone in it should ask that question. If “nobody I know voted for Trump” and 50% of the country did so, perhaps widening that circle of acquaintance might be a prudent idea? They wouldn’t even have to soil their soft little hands, all they have to do is ask the fellow next to them, and they won’t do it. This is self-imposed ignorance and it’s impossible to feel sorry for them.
