Don’t need to VET anyone, good people come here legally. Every single person that steps across the border is in violation of this nations immigration laws. That makes them ALL criminals.

Excuse me but President Trump is not the one that made false promises to those people, we the people didn’t either. Any and all who make it to our border and claim asylum will be processed and a handful will qualify which is the norm and how it works. If there are so many truly in crisis the UN needs to deal with it that way, and other countries need to help. That is not our obligation to solve and when we do step in to try to solve issues like that we are later blamed for anything that happens years later. Many countries hate us for our interfering in their business. The UN needs to take the lead if things are at that level there.
Those that support illegal immigration and open borders have been making promises to those of Mexico and Central America for years to encourage them to come here illegally. Many of those people and others who support this need to face legal charges in some cases for things they have done. Anyone who supports illegal immigration and open borders is causing the crisis at the border and they are responsible for human trafficking, and smuggling.
It is not spite to enforce our laws. I live here on the border and I will tell you the dims and some RINOs have made many false promises over decades to those of us that deal with border issues daily. The same people that made the false promises to we the people- are the same that made the false promises to the Central American people- to get them here in mass as an October surprise.
Finally after decades President Trump wants to make good on the promises to deal with the border issues, and make it safer not just for us on the border but all Americans. I do not believe President Trump is or will do anything out of spite, nor do I want him to so not sure where you came up with that...
Please understand illegal immigration is not good for our country, it is not good for we the people. It is not out of spite that we want the border secured and illegals deported. It is a safety/security issue of the highest level in my opinion due to the hardened criminals that take advantage to come here illegally, as well as people from many countries that are known to have terrorists. I think we have been incredibly lucky that we have not YET had a terrorist attack from people that have illegally crossed this border. Those people are still out there, so it could still happen.

Enforce the existing laws to the letter...absolutely no more catch and release...catch, take photos, DNA, Retinal scans and whatever other biometric data... goes into data base and invader tossed back over the border. Mexico gave them passage, they owe us big time. One strike and you're out, banned from ever acquiring any sort of visa and drug induced fantasy of legal immigration...and so is any family member forever.
