This week, icy blasts of change swept two continents.
As unseasonably early winter storms dumped heavy rain and snow across Europe, Angela Merkel, the German Chancellor, effectively stepped down as the leader of her party and irreparably weakened her ability to keep Europe on an even keel.
That very same day, Brazil elected a far-right leader who is even Trumpier than US President Donald Trump.
He believes Brazil's military regime, which ran the country in the 1970s and 1980s, didn't kill enough of its opponents and wants guns in the hands of citizens. "Weapons defend our freedoms" was a campaign cry.
His arrival and Merkel's slow shuffle to political oblivion are not happening in isolation: The world is changing, and this week ruled out a reverse.
We are watching, aware of what's happening, but without seeing a way to hold it back.

well, sorry about that Nick Robinson, but CNN, as much as their talking heads would like to think, really does not have the power to tell the world what to do.
As frustrating as that must be for all the inflated propagandists at CNN who value their own opinions so much, it must be even more frustrating to have to admit to themselves that Merkel was not, after all, the new leader of the free world. And in fact now serves as an example of the abject failure of globalist social engineering in keeping her own people, and their culture, intact for posterity and safe from harm.

If the world is changing, and CNN does not like what they see, then, it’s a good thing.
CNN’s vision for the world they want, is never good, and the best thing that can happen to make the world a lot better, is to be rid of CNN and others like them.
We? Are you talking about CNN? MSNBC, Google, Twitter, Facebook and Soros? Because as I see it dumping Merkel is step 1 to Europe slowing down its decent. And Brazil is heading to capitalism and allowing its people to defend themselves against criminals and communists. It seems like these are changes sane people would promote rather than stop.
The world order we are seeing now is one fixing for a fight. We are not quite sure what that fight will be, or where it will begin, but we are shaping the arguments for it and preparing our defences.

We know you are frightened of change, and things that you don’t understand cause you to be very disoriented. Please let me help. Anti-Trump invectives don’t work any more. Hate and fear mongering don’t work. Identity politics are a thing of the past. XX and XY are biological determinants that you can not control. African Americans are free now to vote for those who provide them true economic benefit.
A humble suggestion is for you to accurately report the news. Divest yiurselves of your Democrat overlords lest you become totally irrelevant.

Freak changes in the composition of space around the sun are about to drive a chain of meteorological events locking the UK into a savage early Arctic freeze, it has been claimed.
The so-called solar corona has become dotted with holes on its Earth-facing side threatening serious knock-on effects to the flow of the jet stream and the weather this winter.
Temperatures are expected to nosedive towards the end of October bringing ‘substantial snowfall’ across Scotland, northern and central England.

Relative to Brazil they have long suffered from Socialism and rampant corruption and crime. They were sick and tired of it. They voted for their Donald Trump as we did. Socialism breeds economic malaise, crime and debasement of the people. It is that damn simple.
