HB 731 designated certain commonly owned semiautomatic firearms as contraband and required the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to seize them from their owners.

No chance of passing, but I wouldn't want to be one of them investigators.

Very true. One of my takes on it is:

like they did in NY, are they going to carve out exemptions for members of law enforcement? If so, then all cops are on duty 24/7 and any actions they take, whether arguing over a parking spot or being drunk in a bar can be laid at the feet of their department, city, county, state agency.

What happens if there’s a Constitutional sheriff or two in the stated that refuses to comply with any orders?

What happens when one of these GBI agents, trying to get help from locals, realizes that they have to seize their dad’s, brother’s, sisters, cousins, best friends, neighbors weapons? How are they going to swing that.

She is such an utterly corrupt moron, that it would be laughable if it weren’t so serious. What I do find interesting though is, is she the best they have? If so, the Left is in some serious trouble. For they may have some rabid support from some, they are getting more and more radical, which is going to turn off, more and more people.
