Republican Diane Harkey led a rally outside her Carlsbad, California, campaign office on Sunday afternoon for Proposition 6, the ballot initiative to repeal last year’s 12-cent-per-gallon gas tax increase and vehicle fee hike.

The “Yes on 6” bus is traveling throughout the state, rallying Republicans to vote for the initiative — and to turn out to the polls for the party’s candidates.

I am voting for this but I don't think Prop 6 will pass...

Opponents are running scary ads about what happens if Prop 6 passed...It is as if no road repairs were done in CA before the tax increase...

I have not seen a single TV ad for Prop 6...

Economy is great...Thus, CA voters don't mind paying more taxes? I read that in some San Jose Mercury News article...

I agree with Prop 6 supporters, mentioned in the article, that Attorney General Becerra made wording of the proposition unfavorable to the side wanting the tax repeal...I read the description on my ballot...Word "repeal" is mentioned in the middle. Not at the beginning...But, if you read the entire description, you get the idea that Prop 6 will repeal the tax hike...I don't think that you need any college education to understand the description...Of course, some people are just too lazy to read the entire description...

I just wish Prop 6 supporters ran some TV or radio ads...I don't remember any radio ads...I do remember some TV ads ran by GOP congressional campaign fund...They did mention that Democrat Gil Cisneros supports gas tax hike. That ad's main goal was not to pass Prop 6 though...

If Prop 6 fails, Dems will be asking for more taxes...Starting with Newsom, who will probably win...Dems will accuse GOP of being clueless about CA voters who like to pay more taxes...Let's see how far Dems go with tax increases...

The skies the limit.......no outer space is the limit for California Demo, er, communists. I am convinced they will not be happy until they have driven every productive person, or person with a smidgen of personal wealth out of the state. Democrats have had a long history of driving industry out of the state through regulation and taxation, I include the former goobernator with the democraps.

Moonbeam and his lackeys which make California government an effective uni-party have accelerated the pace of destruction, driving even wealthy liberal to give up and make another more tax favorable state their permanent residence.

Only when California has been turned into a mirror image of Tijuana filled with illegals will they be happy, somehow believing that they will be able to keep California solvent by sucking money out the Federal teat to pay for their socialistic catastrophe.

CA Gov. Brown lost court appeal and has to remove $330M+ from general fund to replace foreclosure settlement award of years ago. He tried to use the settlement from big banks to pay off public housing bonds, and the courts said no. I’m guessing Diane Feinstein’s husband’s train to nowhere was an intended recipient.
