That sounds very likely,and explains why the details make no sense. She should have consulted with High School friends and not CA friends. The lies in her testimony were glaring to locals that grew up in the Potomac- DC- Country Club culture. The kids back in the 1980’s weren’t very political. The parents may have been judges, and lawyers, and lobbyists but their kids didn’t delve into politics. Most internships on capital Hill were envelope stuffing. And no one wanted those jobs. The kids in high school wanted the lifeguard jobs at the country club or neighborhood pools.
