I’m about 4 years ahead of you (finished grad school in May of ‘80 just before Reagan won). I voted for Bushes 4 times...the biggest stain possible on my voting record. W was so transparent as a Deep Stater, his two terms were an unmitigated disaster that led directly to putting Obama in the White House. I even consider my ‘76 dumb ass young guy vote for Carter as less damaging than any of my votes for the perfidious Bushes.

I have to chuckle at that, as I did the same thing, and my wife never misses an opportunity to remind me of it; often describing me in your term.
