Voters casting ballots early in Sarasota say Trump was a big factor in their vote this year
Sarasota retiree Patricia Rardin doesnt always vote in midterm elections.
It depends on the issues, said the 66-year-old former medical transcriptionist after she cast her ballot early over the weekend. This one was important. I want to get rid of the people who vote alongside Trump.
Rudy Fraccio used to vote for Democrats but now believes the party is too liberal. The 85-year-old Sarasota health care worker voted a straight Republican ticket over the weekend, in part to support President Donald Trump.
I think hes doing a very good job, Fraccio said.

We have to hope the pools are wrong and VOTE!
Yep, the Indie’s will control the outcome.
Even early voting is bad for Ds. They usually dominate early voting. This indicates R enthusiasm in the base.
Praying for Florida.
The Democrats surged yesterday and took the lead in early voting.
HA Goodman said, according to TargetSmart, GOP is +42K in early voting in FL.
The only question, is the same question I have had this cycle, on FL and GA... is what will the AA turnout be... If it is near traditional norms, GOP is fine.. if they show up well outside them because of an AA on the ballot for governors, then conventional patterns are out the window.
This is a major victory for Rs, who went into 2016 down almost 100,000.
Expected but Dems still behind 2016 levels.

Which was fully expected. The DEMS historically use the final Sunday as their main early voting day, along with NO majority R counties being open on that day.
The key thing to note is the Dems lead by almost 100K in 2016 after the final Sunday. This year their lead is under 25K.
Dems are trailing 2016 results (which were an R runaway) by 65000.
Democrats have cast 2.06 million ballots. Republicans have cast 2.04 million. More than 948,000 voters with no party affiliation have also voted.
This years totals far exceed those of 2014 midterms, but are still short of the 6.6 million who voted ahead of Election Day in 2016.
20,000 can be overcome in the election tomorrow. The decider will be the independents.
Almost surprised Whiny White Gillum (Ron Howard) didn’t go and support Commie Racist Andy Gillum.
When all of you decide WHO is leading in early voting please let me know. You all dont seem to agree.
Now there are reports that Miami ran out of ballots. Guess which people are in high concentration in Miami? Illegals voting for democrats. And Democrats creating fake votes. It is going to be pretty difficult to overcome cheating at this level IMHO.
yes but how does it compare to the last midterm in 2014??
I recall when it was exposed in the Bush/Gore election; the Florida Dems had a sophisticate program whereby they took cards showing dem candidates to be marked, along with absentee ballots to all the nursing homes and assisted living centers. They would help the patients mark the ballots. Those who couldn’t they would fill out for them, any who couldn’t sign made a mark and the dem signed as a witness, and then filed the ballots at the proper polling stations. They received thousands of dem votes in that manner. Remember??
