I like Sean Hannity but I would have probably counted how many times he said the word “Literally” throughout his speech. If I had to pick I would prefer seeing Rush absolutely ADORE HIM!
And the number of sentences Sean starts with the word Now. It drives me insane.
Sean literally misuses the word “literally” a billion times a day.
The “ya know” five or six times in every sentence sends me up the wall...and the mind numbing chit chat with his staff makes me crazy too.
Isn’t it funny (peculiar - not ha ha) what annoys us? I like Tammy Bruce a lot but for years she’s had the bad habit of using the word “dynamic” in sentence after sentence and it drove me nuts! She’s appearing on FOX a lot more now and I had forgotten how she’d said it for years on her radio show in L. A. and YEP - the same thing now commenting on TV.
I think I could put together a book on irritating habits of TV commentators or news reporters.
“right now” is a big one...it’s used over and over in 2 minute news stories...
“Right now we’re at the accident scene. Law enforcement is showing up right now. Right now,the traffic is ........”
I yell “right now” while watching that on TV and I know my husband wants to throw something at me!
Beginning every sentence with “Well, look, I mean”.....
Well, for crying out loud, you haven’t said a word yet so how could you mean ANYTHING? That’s a great one of Karl Rove’s and so many others!
Or how about beginning every answer to a question with - SO!!!! “Did you attend the rally?” “So I went to the rally.”
