Trump says he regrets the tone he used during first 2 years in office
ABC 7 WJLA ^ | Nov 5, 2018 | Sinclair Broadcast Group

President Donald Trump said he regrets the tone he has used during his first two years in office during an exclusive interview with Sinclair Broadcast Group.

"I would like to have a much softer tone. I feel to a certain extent I have no choice, but maybe I do," Trump said. He attributed his tone during his first two years in office to wanting to get things done on his agenda, adding that he could have been softer in his delivery.

He said after the midterm election his tone is something he will be working on and he hopes there will be more harmony between Republicans and Democrats.

"I would love to get along, and I think after the election a lot of things can happen. But right now they are in their mode, and we are in our mode. And you know if you're criticized you have to hit back, or you should," Trump said.

Trump remained optimistic that an olive branch would be extended after Tuesday's race.

"I hope so. It is certainly better for the country," Trump remarked. "I hope that happens and we are certainly willing to do that. And think before anything else we have to get tomorrow over with."

His tone was perfect and is developing beautifully in real time as our nation corrects course. It takes a magnificent amount of energy to make abrupt changes in the direction of a mass such as ours...and the world’s, cumulatively. I love where this nation is headed.

I’ve watched a few very recent Trump rallies and he hasn’t toned down his usual anti-media rhetoric at all. So, this story is FAKE NEWS!

OMG, this is some AI that took over President Trump’s body.

Please do not say anything like this again, Mr. President, if that was you.

When his personal efforts to win this election come to fruition tomorrow, he can “soften” his tone for a day tomorrow, then hit the trail full steam ahead again.
He has been speaking the truth!

Because Paul Ryan sure as Hell haven't done anything to help Trump other than pass obligatory tax cuts.

I must say, Ryan is worse than Sessions, isn't he.

Trump: You know, you guys in the fake news are so godawful at your jobs I almost kinda feel bad about how I dominated you so easily. Seriously. You guys couldn’t pour piss out of a boot if the instructions were written on the heel. Even now you’re all gonna report this as if I’m being completely honest with you. Am I being honest? Am I just messing with you? You still can’t tell, can you?
Man, you guys are pathetic.

Mr. President, I'm your fervent supporter.

Let's not lose sight of the fact you had to take on the entire world, from the biased press to the RATs to foreign governments-to our own-to the so-called loyal opposition to your own party.

So you stepped on a few toes. BFD. Ignore your critics. You had to break a few eggs, but we've enjoyed the omelets.

History will be kind to you. So, with all due respect, stop being a pu$$y and get back to work.

Paul Ryan is the reason why they may lose the House. We look a the judges that have come out of the Senate and we think it's pretty great.

What has Ryan done, other than whine about tone?
