I don't remember it that way at all. The South was solid all the way.
Lots on Facebook. Friends of mine from Texas. At least, they are voting Cruz because he’s pro-life.
The media uses polls as an excuse for their own anti-conservative advocacy. Media polling is designed to create a story. Polling is crap. Polling has to go. If you have the opportunity to take an exit poll, take it!
Your power as a polled American is awesome! LIE your A$$ off. The more invalid polls become, the less useful they become to the EneMedia
You don't remember the exodus of NeverTrump Freepers who left the forum during the 2016 primary?
A few of my best FRiends were in that group, and have never returned.
The House is also the origination of all federal spending. Don’t think for a minute they won’t detonate landmine after landmine once they get control of the national purse strings.
Loss of the House means the MAGA agenda slows down to a crawl, if not a dead stop.
Yeah, it matters. It matters a lot.
Im accepting a house loss.
Any time I see the phrase "to be honest" or "in all honesty", my first thought is, what are you when you are not honest?
The fact that you willingly accept defeat in advance of any event, is your weakness and is a real character flaw.
Get a set of balls, harry.
No, the GOP Senators in NC, FL and GA all won by much much larger margins then Trump. A lot of solid Red districts came in very weak for Trump. The pollsters look at that and said “a lot of GOP people don’t like Trump” and that was the case in 2016. A lot of church going GOP voters did not like Trump. They thought he was a NY Liberal pretending to be “Conservative” who would disappoint if elected.
I think the last 2 years laid those fears for Trump to rest. The Polling Groups took it to represent a change in voting patterns.
Tonight we will see who is right.
They always try to scare us with the youth vote and it never develops.
I wonder how that’s going. Like for real not their spin.
agree!
As much as I enjoyed many of that group's analysis, they REALLY couldn't handle having said analysis "peer reviewed."
Good point
I was one of those doubters. I only voted for Trump because he wasn’t Clinton. Now, I’m aboard the Trump train. Greatest President ever!!
Follow Ravi and LS our very own FReepets
They have great data and analytics
Ditto. I voted Cruz in the primary and was going to hold my nose in the general and vote for President Trump. However, when he finally laid out what he stood for (instead of just telling us how great everything was going to be) in his Gettysburg speech in September of 2016, I became a solid supporter. He has exceeded my wildest expectations, and I have never been so happy to have been wrong....
We keep the House. We go +7 or more in the Senate. It won’t be close. To the bank with you.
It would be great if we could go up a couple of seats (even 1 or 2!) in the House. The effect of that would psychologically devastating to the Rats.
” my first thought is”
You’re working off the assumption that your thought is correct.
Lighten up Francis - sometimes a figure of speech is just that.
I live in California, in a predominantly Hispanic County and city, my vote means Nothing. I am jealous of people that can vote and have t mean something., And it pisses me off to see people throw their vote away when it could elect someone that could help Trump.
“The odds are pretty slim, to be honest.”
Not according to Larry S.
