Yep, I'm new to the area so I was confused until I heard about the massive sign theft going on. The area is conservative except for the large number of foreign tech workers here... but many of them can't vote... or shouldn't be able to at least.

So far I'm liking the area. Schools are good. I need to find some non profits or groups to work with. Getting bored as I was forced into a very early retirement a few months after I moved here (SOBs)

I work in the Tech industry and have had quite a few political discussions with people I work with who are relatively new U.S. citizens. They did it the legal way and are disgusted by illegals crossing the border. Most are very conservative and want Texas to remain a red state. They even complain about the liberals migrating in from failed blue states.
