Dems Warn in Multiple States: We’ll Know If You Don’t Vote, and So Will Your Neighbors
Washington Free Beacon ^ | November 6, 2018 | Joe Schoffstall

Posted on 11/06/2018 2:14:59 PM PST by kevcol

Individuals in at least three states have received literature from Democratic campaigns, organizations, or state parties warning that their voter records are public information. In one of those states, residents received documents that reveal if their immediate neighbors have voted in past elections.

The language used on all three of the documents obtained by the Washington Free Beacon show that a unified theme of "who you vote for is private, but whether or not you vote is public record" has been used throughout in an apparent attempt to push voters to the polls.

Coercion is what they’re about. It’s all they’re about.

If these forms included how many times per election these neighbors had voted, that could be useful.

Back in my union days 1979-1994, the Business Manager and Agents would stand up on the stage at the meetings and point their fingers at us and tell us they know who you voted for...

Ted Cruz used this trick in the presidential primary.

Yeah that’s the only solution.

Because we’re not winning on all fronts.

EIGHTY FIVE percent of the country accepts Trump as their president.

That’s IN LINE with past presidents.

Another 10 to 12 percent want NO part in violence.

I think we can handle the 3 percent.

Some folks still need to let the FIRST war go.

Sorry some of you guys you missed your chance to kill northerners by over 150 years now. Let it go.

Good Grief

So now, a pack of cigarettes or a cheap fifth of booze isn’t enough “persuasion?”
Maybe those Hollywood “stars” can offer some “free sex?”

That’s an unintended consequence; a voter so accosted will march into the voting booth and say under his breath, “All right, you fascist bitches! I’m a free man and there’s nothing you can do about it!!”, then he’ll vote straight Republican ticket.

Notice the threat is hollow: whether you vote or not is public record; WHO you voted for is secret unless the local election committee is totally corrupt.

There could be a severe pro-Trump backlash.

“That’s coercion, and a veiled threat.”

They’ve got nothing else. They’re bankrupt of any ideas or platform issues.

What if all these people who have been threatened DO vote, and they vote for OTHER than the Democrat puppet?

Not that so very many people would respond just that way....

My daughters received notices of this kind. One is away at Marine Corps Boot Camp in another state, and one turned 18 this year, although the report said she voted in earlier years.

Stupid stuff.

"That will probably p*ss off a number of them who will vote Republican."

It is. I had to take someone to their poll before I went to mine. While at their polling place I overheard a conversation from a woman talking to a friend about receiving a call covering the same things. She was really worked up. She said her call also accused her of not voting in the last two elections, "They said I didn't vote in the last two! I did, I did, I don't know why they were saying that!" She seemed determined to make someone pay for making her feel violated like that.

I got one of these the other day from Club for Growth that listed my neighbors and myself and gave us each a grade based on how many past elections we voted in. It wasn’t even in an envelope either but used a big postcard format - I wasn’t pleased to say the least...

You do realize GOP calls people who have not voted to encourage them to vote...it’s standard protocol. We do not, however, make threatening statement about it. It’s public record who votes...not how they vote.

Bullying people who stay home from the polls ... and this is what they do when they aren’t in power.

Don’t give liberal bullies power.

If they ever get enough power again one of the Democrat wet dreams out there is to require proof of having voted to qualify for welfare or student aid or any other programs.

Will the other side of the coin work, too? If I don't vote, will that mean I can't qualify to pay taxes?
