Well now. Good thing he didn’t just put a bag over his head and silently leave the race, the way most GOP used to do.
The Dems never let a little murkiness stop them from taking office. I think this man was one of the few who supported Trump during his Presidential run from the beginning.
It’s almost like NY doesn’t elect anyone who isn’t indicted, being investigated for some kind of fraud, engaging in some kind of extramarital romp, or beating their wife. They do love their defective goods, them NYers (excluding ME).
Somebody need to point out Bob Menendez and his history, along with Larry Ellison, and Beto ‘hit and run’ O’Rourke.

Collins was not one of the first Congressmen who came out in support for candidate Donald Trump, he was THE first one. Paul Manafort. Mike Flynn. Michael Cohen. Donald Trump Jr. You see a pattern here? If one were a tinfoil hat kind of a guy, one might say that being connected to Donald Trump is hazardous to your career, reputation and bank account.
All this while people like Hillary, Bill, Pelosi, Feinstein, Podesta, Comey,....well, nothing.

NY-27 is most of Western NY, except blue city of Buffalo. Collins is charged with insider trading, although he himself made no trades, and lost a ton of money on a declining stock, his son and son’s father-in-law made trades and avoided big losses.
Having Nancy Pelosi as speaker was a far worse prospect in the eyes of many Western NY’ers.
Duncan Hunter is winning n San Diego and he and his wife spend campaign and budget money for personal reasons as they want. And he blamed it on her.
Who cares? He won. The Dems have more crooks still in Congress than ever before (Hastings, Menendez, Warren (gains from her stolen Indian heritage lies; Blumenthal - same, Stolen Valor from Vietnam lies; Charlie Rangel (if he’s still around or rounder; half the Chicago reps.; Pelosi and the surplus Post Office gamit; Feinstein and her husband re business deals; and others.
Good to see some balance for all those artcles the media have run about Menendez....

Maybe it’s because it seemed to be a convenient indictment when the Dems wanted his seat. Why weren’t these charges brought against him when he was running for office a few years ago?
I hated to see Chris involved in this sort of scandal, but I am so happy he won.
He is not a bad guy, nor a corrupt politician and I hope he beats this bogus rap.
Insider trading -- indictment? Dime a dozen in Corruptica. :^)
And NJ too, with Menendez.
