The Mississippi Senate race will stretch beyond Election Day, as Republican Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith and Democrat Mike Espy both advanced to a runoff after no candidate garnered more than 50 percent of the vote.
The runoff, which polling predicted, will take place on Nov. 27.

McDaniel has just dropped another 20 points with me and I was incensed when they kept him out when he ran straight up[ against the senile drooling fool whose seat he went after because he didn't want to mix it up with Wicker if he didn't have to.
He set his sights on himself, got some idiots to think he was the only choice, ran from his initial intentions to try for lower hanging fruit and now, instead of the seat being occupied by the person Trump endorsed (He knew McDaniel would be problematic and opted to keep a seat instead of rolling the dice), we have to gear up for a runoff election and hope the dems don't super-flood MS with their cash as the Repubs sit on their thumbs.

You’re right about McDaniel. That tactic paid off in Az. with Arpaio because I don’t think the M.D. would have won.
Yeah - McDaniel played spoiler and those who voted for him - even though he trailed Hyde-Smith by double digits, sealed the run off instead of owning the seat.

Despite her reputation, she has voted with Trump 100% in the short time she has been in office. Won’t be surprised if Trump makes an appearance in MS to return the favor.
And her ads all include kudos for Trump....seems like some folks use made-up or old-but-modified-for-the-purpose stats to claim she voted with Trump 38% of the time .... which even if it were true would make her better than the Dem who would vote against trump 100% of the time...
