Growing up some of the worst reprobates were from the academy where the town's rich and middle class sent their kids, at the time to escape integration. Terrible over privileged kids who never grew out of their "white privilege" One just have to look at the Kavanagh affair to see this attitude has permeated Catholic schools as well. And the military schools as well(See "West Point Commie" and "Black Power" salute cadets)

So there's enough blame to spread around, it's not just in the public schools.
