They picked an extreme example but the truth is that there is a large and vocal group within the "geek" community of gamers, sci fi fans, and comic book readers, that is moving to the right quickly.

The reason is that the media they love, the games, the movies, the comics, have become extreme propaganda that is demonizing them specifically, and when they complain they are called viscous names by the creators. The left has driven them rightwards. The result is the "Get woke, go broke" phrase where evidence of overt PC / lefty messaging in a work will get it insta-boycotted by them.

And it's all because the leftists ruined the things they loved by politicising them. Obsessive fans can become obsessive in other ways too.

You are correct.

Kids wouldn’t be downloading such stuff if they did not see it happening to them, and those around them, every single day.

When TV and other mass media demonizes white males (Surprise surprise, white boys consider themselves white males!!!) 24/7 then they see the entire world attacking them personally.

I would bet that in the minds of the boys the “Jew” part of the equation is limited to left wing Jews in this country (since media is heavy with them) and that most of them are pro-Israel. After all Israel has some great programmers and some great soldiers (face it, they’ve been kicking butt on the muzzies for decades)

Add to that the fact that dad is a wuss (crying? really???) and it is no surprise that his son would be looking for male role models. Someone with the balls to do what needs to be done. Surely he won’t find such men on the left wing (unless he goes far left wing to the Nazis) and his dad has likely demonized the right wing to him since he was born.
