I don’t know if old Jeff Sessions was a racist, but I do know that he was feckless. Trump made a YUGE mistake by not firing him as soon as he recused himself. He should have trusted his instincts on that one. You didn’t see Eric Holder or Loretta Lynch recusing themselves. Who does that? The whole reason they changed the Special Counsel law was to prevent run-away Special Counsel’s like Mueller with zero oversight.

It goes without saying that the President and his closest confidants are executing a well planned series of strategic moves. It's also been obvious for some time that those moves and plans do not include eff Sessions, and that Trump would eject him from his post just as soon as it was politically expedient to do so.
I don't care what eff Sessions does with the balance of his pathetic life, but no one should ever put him in a position of public trust again.
