Politico reported Wednesday that the president’s son is expecting to be indicted.
According to the report, Donald Trump Jr. “has told friends in recent weeks that he believes he could be indicted…”
Trump Jr. has been under intense scrutiny ever since it was revealed that he attended a meeting in 2016 with Russian lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya at Trump Tower in New York City. The meeting was purportedly held so that Veselnitskaya could provide opposition information on then-presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
I hope not, but it wouldn’t be surprising. I’m not saying Don Jr. did anything wrong as that meeting wasn’t wrong, but Mueller is gunning for him.
Like scooter libby, his recollection of a conversation is different than a cooperating witness. This is what Rudy was referring to when asked about the “truth”

Mueller is unprincipled and dishonest.
But that does not mean that there is any possible case for indictment.

That actually makes perfect sense. The media will go to defcon 1 anyways but they’ll have more ammo this way.

The forces of evil, the radical left, are in complete control of the DOJ. That’s why we need Trump to appoint a second special counsel or convene military tribunals.
There is nothing behind this.

If they could have nailed Trump Jr. with some process crime, they would have already. And there is no substance to the “collusion delusion”.

That’s fine. Trump will have more exculpatory evidence proving that the meeting was totally above board (which it was) than Mueller has in his indictment.
With that documentation and proof that Americans will understand and believe, PDJT will pardon Jr.
This is a report that Trump Jr. thinks he might be indited. That means nothing. He is just concerned that with the change of leadership on the intelligence committee, he might be vulnerable.
He might not even know if he is vulnerable or not. Given that there was no collusion, the only thing they could get him on is a process crime.
What is going on with this Special Prosecutor is criminal.
