I’m on many threads today reiterating my belief that we need to appoint a SP to investigate FBI/DOJ/Obama WH collusion to throw the election to HRC. If the House wants to waste time duplicating what Mueller is already doing, nothing Trump can really do to stop them. But, since the House will stop investigating the DOJ/FBI et al, only a Special Prosecutor appointment is left as an option to continue investigating. Even with a new head of DOJ, the DOJ cannot investigate itself. This situation is one of the rare instances where a SP is actually called for.
A SP will have to call Rod Rosenstein in and probably make him a target, if not a material witness. That could force Rod to resign - no need to fire him. Same with Mueller. Mueller’s history with FBI, the Uranium One, closeness with Comey among others made him conflicted and he shouldn’t have taken the job; but having him called by an independent SP would put some heat on him personally.
Not only do I want to see this done for the sake of justice, but that is the primary reason. I also want to see some payback for the ridiculous attempt to thwart and overthrow the elected President; to warn future FBI/DOJ from meddling with elections... and I also think he has to return fire for political reasons. He took it lying down for 2 years and the House keeps harping on impeachment. It is time to turn the tables and put the DNC on the defensive and, ideally, let the American people learn the truth about what happened in 2016.

Since RWR retired I have been waiting for a GOP president/candidate to FIGHT the leftists (who grew steadily more unhinged, dirty, and finally went flat-out-Marxist, as the last 3 decades rolled on).
I used to yell at the TV when Bush1 was mealy-mouthing his way to defeat in ‘92 after having 89% approval a year and a half earlier ... I refused to watch a single speech by The Rapist in the 1990s ...
... I had high hopes for Bush2 (voted for him 4 times because I was stationed in Texas in the 1990s) ... was high on him after 9/11 and the Afghan blitzkrieg ...
... but then he got us into Iraq (destabilizing the entire Middle East as a result), which was the single WORST foreign policy move by a president in American history) ...
... and, to top it off, he then disengaged from the political fight during his entire second term, leading to the GOP being slaughtered in ‘06 and ‘08 ...
... let’s skip McCain and Romney - what needs to be said ...
... once again (as with The Rapist), I refused to watch a single SECOND of The Marxist on TV for 8 years, even stopped listening to talk radio after the 2012 election and the polling miss that led us to think Mittens the harmless Golden Retriever could actually pull it out ...
... the fact that I, a refugee from communism, would LIVE to see my adopted country, which I served in uniform, elect a man whom I consider to be a doctrinaire Marxist at heart - TWICE, was a disheartening thing (to say the least) ...
