Following WH meeting today: DAG Rod Rosenstein has canceled a speech scheduled for Thursday in San Francisco, the Aspen Institute says. Rosenstein was scheduled to speak to the organization’s cybersecurity summit. The institute says it wasn’t given a reason for the cancelation

Recommended to Trump that Trump fire Comey then appointed Mueller to investigate Trump for firing Comey...among other things. Pretty blatant. What I didn’t get was Sessions acting like Rosenstein was such a noble person that he’d recuse himself if he had any need. Was Sessions that stupid?

You aren't supposed to use the law as a political weapon, but I think there are many that have been waiting for just plain everyday Justice for some of the swamp rats. I don't think Trump can demand the AG prosecute certain people, but there are about 20 easy wins if you go back to Benghazi and Fast and Furious on up. This new guy probably already knows where the bones are buried but had no power.
