Election Day 2018 – Just One Inning
Redoubt News ^ | 11/7/2018 | Jim Boyer

While the headlines draw public attention to the sensation of the day, a relentless current of extreme leftist activism is eroding the shores of America’s heritage. Lost in the outcome of the November election is the precarious stability of our belief that America’s dedication to the ideal that we will always be free to determine our personal destiny will not disappear.

In major races such as the Governorship in Florida and Georgia and the Senate seats in Texas and Arizona, committed far left socialist candidates came within a hair of defeating conservative republican candidates. This outcome should be a wake-up call for all who believe in the value of freedom and self-determination. The outcome of this year’s elections was not just an oddity in the wacky world of politics, it is a clear forecast of what is to come and possibly a hint of what the country our grandchildren will live in might be like.

Scott Walker lost because the Dems got 200,000 more people to vote for their candidate than voted for his opponent in 2014. That’s a clear win for them and handwriting on the wall.

Look at how America has declined each decade from the 1970’s , 1980’s etc. each decade progressively worse getting closer to socialism and Venezuela.

It's not just happening. Democrats planned this . Democrats have imported at least 80 million LEGAL and illegal 3rd world immigrants that mostly vote for democrats/socialism.
They imported an army of immigrants to destroy America. And that's why we have declined.

Democrats planned this

true, but republicans have been fully complicit in this apocalypse.       the ghw boosche new world order is exhibit #1.

I'm not one for cursing but I'll make an exception: I wish the boosches and all their ilk would ESAD.       now.

The author’s assertion is wrong, as far as it relates to Texas.

Governor Greg Abbot won his reelection with over 70 percent of the vote. Ted Cruz should have had the same margin. He failed to do that because he is widely disliked - not because he is a Republican, but because he’s an a-hole.

The reason Cruz won by only 5 percent is indicative of how much he is disliked - mainly for reason of his despicable behavior during the 2016 election.

Most Texans know that Cruz is a POS. The fact that this Republican senator nearly lost his seat, while the popular Republican governor won by 70 percent, is not indicative that Texas is going “blue,” by any stretch; but rather it is the voice of Texas saying: Hey Ted, you’re a despicable a-hole.”

If we do not stop the colonization of our country the anchor babies of fraudulently documented foreigners will be deciding our fate.

Did he win by only three points?

Cruz is not likable, period. He shouldn't be considered a Presidential candidate in 2024 or ever again.

I think you may be right, some one else posted that Abbot got 400,000 more votes than Ted.
Those people did not vote for Beta.
They left that spot on their ballot blank.

He is not a natural born citizen.
He never should have run.
That and his convention antics are why he almost lost.

I think he won by 5 percent, but other sources show 6 and 8 percent.

The libs threw a record amount of money against Cruz... not against the Governor. And they still lost.

A drummer from a punk-rock band whose parents were both Narco gang proxies and who ran away from a DUI accident, who by marriage became a BILLIONAIRE but masqueraded a middle-class and who, more Irish than the Kennedy clan, pretended to be a HISPANIC:

THAT guy came within a whisker of defeating Ted Cruz..?!?!

That is sobering, shocking, foreboding.

The democrats’ 1965 immigration act changed where immigration to the USA originated.

Before this act immigration was from Europe.

After 1965 immigration is from Mexico, Hondoras, Africa, Muslim lands etc etc etc. .

This is why the 2000’s much worse than the 1970’s . America was still America in the 1980’s even.

Today My city is overrun run with Somali Muslims , Pakis, Hondurans , Mexicans and they think they own this place now. All the kids at the bustop now are these immigrants before in the 1980’s All Americans. This is why America has declined each decade since the 1970’s. Immigrants vote mostly for democrats/socialism

Read Ann coulter’s book “Adios America” for more info.

They knew that the people like Abbott and don’t like Cruz, making him vulnerable. It wasn’t an accident that they only put $ into the Cruz race. Cruz made himself vulnerable by being the dislikable person who ran against the guy who then came to TX to save his sorry arse.

Most of us would rather see Cruz in the Senate than Beto, but that doesn’t mean anyone has to like him. OR that he would ever have a prayer running again for POTUS. Elephants, you may recall, have very long memories.
