President Trump needs to say very clearly: The words Nationalist and Racist are not synonyms. That is the problem these reporters have. They don’t actually know the definition of the words.
When they answer by saying the “Nazi’s were white nationalist” the reply should be NAZI stands for National Socialist. So why are not socialist racist?

In his response he actually juxtaposed the word against “globalist”. i.e. there are nationalists and there are globalists.
“White nationalist” is a label for a group that wants a “white nation”. Nationalist is a lable for a person who values their nation over all other nations.
They are not stupid. They are being intentionally obtuse to persuade the stupid.
