WFAA ^ | November 7, 2018 | Monica Hernandez

For almost 35 years, Tarrant County has been the most reliably red, urban county in Texas. Then, on Election Day, Democrat Beto O'Rourke beat Republican incumbent Ted Cruz in the county.

Its Cruz not Tarrant County.

If Cruz doesn’t learn from this, he will be beaten in 2024.

Ted Cruz has made his own bed. Outside a couple of made for TV beltway committee performances he’s been mostly an anonymous back bencher since Trump was elected POTUS. Cruz isn’t on the ballot for 6 years. I really hope he uses that breathing space and steps up his game. We sure need him.

The consequence of a porous border, birthright citizenship loophole, and K-College student commie indoctrination.

I wonder if the old saying “Kill a Commie for Mommie” will come back when the shooting starts...

Muslims love Florida because of the weather and the fact they can blend in with Hispanics, IMO.

>>>Something very worrisome is going on in Texas, Georgia, Florida, and Arizona.

It's the GOPe policies of the cheap labor express...the chamber of commerce. Those chickens are finally coming home to roost. It has taken 20-30 years to materialize but we are seeing it now. Trump and some are trying to shut the barn door...but the horse is already out. Demographics and birth rates will determine the future. What we see demographically happening in France and parts of Europe with their birth rates and ethnic groups is happening here. It's a matter of time. Blame republicans from days gone by (and those who are still in Congress) such as Bush 41, 43, and all those who did ZERO about decades of illegal immigration and voter fraud.

re: "Ted Cruz has made his own bed."

Ted Cruz got more votes than he ever has. Beto was an anomaly ... but, that was a close race. Too close.

The funny thing is, the discrepancy between the number of votes Gregg Abbott got versus what Cruz got. This means a lot of people did not vote straight ticket.

  Cruz 50.9% 4,241,881
  Beta 48.3% 4,018,838
  Neal 0.8% 65,172

  Abbott 55.9% 4,635,928
  Lupe 42.5% 3,524,025
  Mark 1.7% 140,008

Greg got 394,047 more votes than Cruz?

What's up with that?

Cruz has some work to do with voters.

He went onto the floor of the RNC convention for President and refused to endorse Trump.

re: “970,000 Collin County (Plano)”

And we’ve got a *lot* of building (new housing and large-scale commercial) going on in Collin County, too. A lot. We’re going to exceed that number easily ...

“Every conservative state is trending left, it’s just a matter of time.”

It’s hard not to agree, sadly. Trump may be our republic’s last chance.

The internal forces pushing us left (highly targetting our children) for a century achieved their desired effect — socialism by choice.

Look at the once Viking lands: their men are now socialist manginas.
Look at the once Crusader land: their men are now manginas.

Tarrant County is now a minority-majority county. Non-Hispanic whites make up less than half, Hispanics 30% and blacks 15%. Just 15 years ago the county was 70% white.

It’s demographics from immigration

We fought viciously over this here 13-15 years ago and were shouted down then

But we prevailed

It’s likely too late

Well, look at the difference between Bobby Frank and Lupe ...594,813!

I guess Lupe wasn't Kennedyesque enough for the Democrats ...
