People can be so stupid as to ignore just plain self-interest.
at this point, we need to make hay while the sun still shines via the Senate i.e.: Judges, Justices ad infinitum
If you want to win the suburbs back, you had better campaign on the issues that matter to them. It is hard to do that when Paul Ryan and the rest of the GOPe sat on their asses for the first year plus if Trump’s term and did nadda.
Tax cuts and the economy are great as a start but healthcare and other issues are a drag on the suburban wallet.
I do remember, during the Handel/Ossoff fight, someone saying that Handel wasn’t a very good candidate. We need to get better candidates! The Left cherry picked Dem Veterans this time (not here but all over the country). That is OUR bailiwick! I believe that our Armed Forces are about 90% Conservative, but the Left sure can find Dem Veterans when they want.

She won by 1%. I had no idea. I was pretty sure I lived in a red area (North Fulton), but many at my polling place were suspect dems.
Good luck holding the seat you won by a few thousand votes in 2020 when you don’t have the “1st female black” Governor candidate to convince a bunch of stupid white suburban women to go vote against their own self interest “because it will be historic”.
The blue tide barely washed her into office. Now she has to go to DC, vote against everything she claimed to stand for, and then explain to the voters in 2020 why they should vote for her after she lied to them in 2018 to win.
Maybe this will finally put a stake through the heart of one of Georgia’s worst candidates ever. Yes even worse than Hank or John
If we don’t find a way to convince Suburban White Women that they are voting against their Husbands, Sons, and Fathers every time they imagine themselves as some feminist crusader, we will continue to lose in the future.
I can tell you that on election day, every single intersection was surrounded on all 4 corners by grey haired white women holding signs and yelling for the Dem.
