If that was true, I think we could tell by rioting in the streets.

Even with a broader Republican majority in the Senate, the left will *not* sit idly by if the president gets the opportunity to cement a generational conservative majority on the Supreme Court.

If she catches a cold and has difficulty coughing she could come down with pneumonia.

We are all compassionate and wish her a speedy and complete recovery.

But there is nothing wrong to also wish that she would have some sense and retire.

Hope she gets better and recovers soon.

That's an admirable sentiment, but it exceeds the bounds of reality.

Broken bones at Ruth's age are often a death sentence. She is already very weak and frail. At 85, and in her condition, her body is very likely incapable of healing three broken bones.

The stress of such a trauma alone, could (and often does) cascade into multiple system failures, any one of which can be fatal.

I think it's much more realistic to wish her the best outcome possible, under the circumstances. Perhaps that means forced retirement and round the clock hospice care through a slow and questionable recovery process.

My dad died at 87 last year after breaking a vertebra in his back. He was gone in less than three months. I watched him go through everything I described above.

...did you see my other post? RBG is going to retire in Jan to health reasons.

I saw your post. As far as I know, that claim is unsubstantiated.

Fake info, from fake paper.

“I’m now 85,” Ginsburg said, according to CNN. “My senior colleague Justice John Paul Stevens, he stepped down when he was 90. So think I have about at least five more years.”

Her presence at the confirmation showed she would not have far to fall she was so bent over.

She was actually critical of the Demons antics in the Kavanaugh hearings. I couldn’t believe it.

They're going to piss and moan, scream and holler, break stuff, and do everything they can to stop the process, but in the end it will all come to nought. Trump will get his new Justice anyway.

Well, since Fatboy Nadler is threatening to “impeach” Justice Kavanaugh because he doesn’t like him (or something), can’t ANYTHING be done to get this old broad off the court? Obviously, she’s too feeble to go her job, but either her ego or politics refuse to let her quit.

And, of course, I know the answer is “no.” Congress doesn’t have the balls to even stand up for our President, much less kick this liberal “icon” off into some nursing home somewhere.
