Frigate is in danger of sinking after sustaining heavy damage. The 62,000 ton oil tanker is reportedly undamaged.

Some "warship." Is this a case of aluminum vs. steel?

Note that the frigate is about 5000 tons fully loaded. I doubt that there are too many things, military or not that can take a hit from something 12 times bigger and shake it off.

Might have something to do with 62,000 tons vs 5290 tons ...

It's a steel ship.

The thing looks to be grounded on rocks. I suspect it was pushed onto the rocks by the tanker and crushed between them, and that caused the damage. The coastal waters around Norway are perilous.
