Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, 85, fell in her office at the court and fractured three ribs, according to a release from the court Thursday. "Tests showed that she fractured three ribs on her left side and she was admitted for observation and treatment," the statement said. Ginsburg's health has been a matter of intense speculation in recent years. Ginsburg, the court's oldest member, is one of the court's four liberal justices.

That’s a very painful injury. Won’t say anything other than hope she is doing okay.

Retire, RGB.

I feel like I’m in a real-time version of “House of Cards”. Never a dull moment.

Too bad about RBG.

She should retire, but her inner demons will not allow her to do so.

She has been a very destructive Justice.

When your premise is the Constitution has no fixed meaning, you have given yourself permission to rule about any way you want.

Healing is more difficult at that age. I wish her well.

Maybe Trump should have someone ready for an appointment, just in case. The Senate may have a couple of votes cushion in 2019.

I think, at her age, there is an enhanced risk of pneumonia with this type of injury.

Hurts to breathe. Sleep is difficult.

She can rest up at her home in France.

No it isn’t. And yes you’re right.

Amazing how no one is saying “GOOD!” or “@#$@#$ HER!” on this board.

Imagine KOS or DU if an 85 year old female conservative justice broke her ribs?

I DO hope this makes her retire, but I dont take joy in an elderly woman getting hurt.

She’s my mom’s age and mom just chipped a bone in her back :(

It was sunny this morning, but with all those liberal heads exploding it has become a bit overcast.

Yes! I jacked-up a rib playing sports in high school.
Taking a breath was excruciating. Inhale too quickly or
deeply and it feels like someone just stuck a dagger in your side. And God forbid anyone makes you laugh.

Terribly painful, and I was 17. 85? I can’t imagine.
