The Democrats will try kavanaughing (yes I’m using this name as a verb as in borking) Trump and it won’t work. Remember Reagan was able to go over the media’s head even in the 80s and get things done.
When the Trump effect on the economy fades away by the end of the 2nd quarter of 2019 he will have them right where he wants them. They will resist and not work with him thinking they can peel away his supporters - that won’t happen either.
That shows clearly how the teaching of history has been dumbed down and made politically correct when so many citizens think impeachment is something you're just for or against, sort of like building wall. They think an election can just be undone because they don't like the result.

The founding fathers worried that impeachment would lead to a popularity contest. So, they mandated that in order to remove a sitting President from office that it would take a super majority of Senators to do so.
Therefore, it’s unwise to waste the time of the govt in order to have public witch hunts! And when these witch hunts happen, it usually backfires on the hunter.
Whether we agree or not, the attempted removal of office of Bill Clinton backfired, and the result was a landslide victory for the Dems in 1998.
