AUSTIN, Texas - Latinos and other minorities voted heavily for Democratic candidates, helping to drive the party’s capture of the U.S. House in this year's midterm elections, experts said Wednesday.
Exit polls showed that 81 percent of the Latinos ages 18 to 29 and another 74 percent who were ages of 30 to 44 voted for Democrats. The next highest share voting for Democrats was Latinos ages 65 and older, 71 percent.
In the Latino Decisions election eve survey, 73 percent of Latinos said they voted for the Democratic candidate, while 90 percent African Americans, 72 percent of AAPIs and 61 percent of Native Americans said they chose the Democrat. Forty-five percent of white voters cast their ballot for Democrats.
Data for the turnout of Latinos will not be available until later. On the morning of Election Day on Tuesday, the top-trending Google Search in the U.S. was "dónde votar," Spanish for where to vote.

Proud Texan here. . .much as I dislike what I see happening, you are spot on. Project Veritas’ recent video of illegals voting included Travis County. I’m quite sure the same and worse is happening in all major cities.
An analysis by Liberal bloggers purports to show that the Dems outspent Republicans by 5:1 or more in races where a seat flipped.
They may have done it the old fashioned way. Lots and lots and lots of Walking Around Money.
Okay, I'll take the bait. I'll flame you for not having anything to say that was worth a post. Yes, Texas is being overrun with illegals and liberals who are fleeing the states they've already ruined. Guys like you seem to always think you're seeing something that the rest of us can't see, and that we in Texas were supposed to stop the invasion. Were we supposed to shoot them? I left VA in 2015 after 36 years there. I watched VA turn from solid red to solid blue. I was active in local politics. I listened to this outreach nonsense. It doesn’t work. The majority of Latinos are typical Dem constituents. They want Big Government with lots of services and handouts.
I lived in Fairfax County, which is now one-third foreign born. The $2.5 billion school budget allocates $110 million annually on ESOL teachers. Some schools in the system have up to 80% of the student body in ESOL classes. The rapidly changing demographics of the entire DC metro area have Electoral consequences.
If nothing is done, the Republic is dead as we know it in as few as three more presidential election cycles.

So much for “natural conservatives”.
And I don’t want to hear “more outreach!”. We’ve been doing heavy outreach since Reagan and it doesn’t make a damn bit of difference. Minorities vote as a tribe. Only white’s seriously split their votes.
At my poll Tuesday, I saw three women come in and when asked their names, each pulled out a brand new driver’s license and read the name on the driver’s license to the inspector. Motor Voter licenses are being issued to anyone, and the license is accepted as proof of citizenship when registering to vote.
I left last May, and the latinos I talk to, particularly the ones in church, say that they are never approached and have not been taught the central differences in the two major parties.

Well, you’re one of the first Texans I’ve had a “conversation with,” who actually does see what I see ( not that it’s some earth-shanking revelation). Most Texas FReepers say something to the effect “you should talk being from Califorinia,” or you are full of $hit, what you are suggesting will never occur here.” As for what you need to do, I don’t have many answers, but you could enforce your own border. The trouble you have is that the counties you have along the Rio Grande are all populated with Mexicans who are most likely working for all they’re worth to turn their part of your state into Mexico del Norte. So you tell me, I’m all ears because whatever workable solution you might come up with would apply in spades here in CA.
Compared to 2014 Abbott got 18% more blacks and 9% more Hispanics-—but 7% fewer whites.
