"The View" co-host Sunny Hostin said it was the young White House aide and not CNN reporter Jim Acosta who committed battery when attempting to remove a microphone from Acostas hand at a press conference on Wednesday.
Acosta got into a heated exchange with President Trump, who told Acosta to sit down and refused to take further questions from the reporter.
A White House aide, later identified as an intern, then tried to remove the microphone from Acosta, who resisted and asked a follow-up question.
As the intern tried to grab the mic, Acosta said, "pardon me, ma'am" and continued to try to ask his question. Acosta's hand made contact with the intern's arm during the exchange.
What I saw was a battery, not by Jim Acosta, but by the young White House aide, Hostin said on the ABC show on Thursday.
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders in explaining the White House decision to remove the press credentials from Acosta said he put his hands on the young woman, calling it absolutely unacceptable.
Acosta has denied the claims, calling them a lie.
"I didnt put my hands on her or touch her as theyre alleging. Its unfortunate the White House is saying this," Acosta said on CNN Wednesday. "I think I handled myself professionally."
ETC...
I so detest these women hosts. I just saw a FB post by my lefty SIL. The View got her all riled up about this. She is horrified by the White House intern’s assault on Acosta and that Sarah Sanders would release a doctored video that shows the opposite.
If it weren’t for forums like Free Republic and alternate news, I might go mad as I watch people believe such absurdities.
Suburban Women saw a young lady, who at a minimum was, treated extremely poorly. I am sure they would blame there daughters in the same situation.
Then they can ban the intern from the set of The View. (Do her a favor.)
Just a friendly microphone fight.
Touching while fighting over a microphone has now become the modern era’s view of assault I guess. We really have become a soft society.
The thing is — Acosta should have been thrown out long ago for being a jerk. These reporters should not have to touch someone to be ejected. Trump should remove anyone he wishes.
The intern has her job
Acosta has no credential
Case Closed
Those who think like this and watch shows like the View gave the House of Representatives to the Democrats. The Suburban white woman can be quite retarded.
Believe...women?
Heck no! Acosta was gerrymandered.
Et meetoo, Brutview?
Dearest sunny: For the sake of your health and your family, commit yourself into a psychiatric hospital for observation, evaluation and intensive treatment. Only in that way will you possibly escape terminal nitwittery stage. Bless your little heart.
Acosta physically and sexually accosted the girl.
There is something fundamentally wrong if people, like the womyn on the view is so blinded by ideology and hate that they cannot see what video clearly shows.
These are the same womyn that Trump threatened Hillary by simply moving ahead of her in the debates.
Acosta, unrelenting in keeping the mic after he was dismissed by Trump, tried to keep the mic by brushing away the poor intern, who gave the rude reporter a stare that shot daggers at him for his actions.
Was it assault? No. It was boorishness to the point of being unbearable so Acosta had his White House press privilege revoked.
If we cannot agree with what is in front of us, how will we ever agree on more complicated issues.
A nation divided indeed.
“Touching someone is not battery.”
Touching someone without their consent sure as hell IS battery.
The View is just one more fascist propaganda program. Just a bunch of feminist NAZIs does anti American hatred.
So much for believing the victim. Once again the left shows it cares nothing for women, only for using women politically.
The View — just another TV joke.
