While Lafayette Park is inside the District of Columbia, it is part of the National Park System, and is under the jurisdiction of the National Capitol Parks Police, and because of its proximity to the White House, the Executive Protective Service. Smoking a controlled substance in D.C. may be overlooked by the local authorities, but it is still subject to the authority of the Federal LE agencies on Federal Property. Plus his remarks might as easily be interpreted as a threat to the POTUS as a merely rude remark of criticism.
The Left is going to accuse the patriots of being ‘oppressive’ anyway. Might as well give them a taste of what that really means, as long as we stay within the Law.
