Couldnt agree more.
Fox news has become crap trying to be balanced.
I guess they have decided that ballanced = same.
bfl
Finally C-Span is good for something.
First, it is absolutely unacceptable for a reporter to become physical with an intern simply doing her assigned duty under any circumstances PERIOD!
Secondly, this act was simply the final straw in a litany of unacceptable behavior by this man and the appropriate action against him was properly taken.
A+
You don’t need no steenking eyes. CNN will decide what you see. Commies be like that.
Acosta's left hand was up pointing at Trump while his right hand held the mic. When the Intern reached around with her left hand to take the mic, he IMMEDIATELY dropped his right hand to push her arm away and made contact with her inner elbow. That's called battery in most jurisdictions.
battery: "(2) intentionally causing physical contact with another person when done in a rude, insulting or angry manner." Exactly what Acosta did when pushing her arm down. The prick was already in "rude" mode. Thankfully, the Intern had the sense to drop her arm so as not to escalate the matter. She deserves kudos for a being so professional. Anyone have her name.
From Accosta's boorish actions and hogging the mic, his credentials should have been withdrawn on that alone.
Because they're not news. They're Controlled Opposition. I may have doubted that once but no more.
The little intern reached for the microphone two or three times.
I watched the whole thing live......and then rewound it and watched it again. While I don't say ASScosta assaulted or hit the girl, he DID TOUCH her while he was trying to prevent her from taking back the microphone....in the time her arm is reaching under .....his arm stretches out on top of hers, as a nudge block, and he leans away.
She was also flustered.....because she was looking at the President like: What do I do?
Well, the way I saw it, he did touch her. And C-SPAN video is certainly not doctored (I assume they had their own feed).
In retrospect, instead of a cute intern, the intern in question should have been recruited from a college wrestling team or a football defensive lineman. Then the issue wouldnt have come up - a man working for the most important person in the country would not take excuse me from someone who was being rude to his boss. Also, in retrospect, somebody should have instantly turned off the mic Acosta had possession of. And the intern should have had a backup mic.
Actually, Acosta’s behavior in general is wrong. He deserved the punishment.
What the hell is this l watched it live. He shoved her hand away.
That's the socialist/communist march to Hell. Wide is that way to be sure...
and we're seeing the evidence of too many in our nation unwilling to take the
warning against it, rather they're jumping on board like moths to a flame.
And you can bet these people (below) are paying for and fueling
that flame in our country big time! It is their agenda!
See #65.
That is the legal definition of battery. Unwanted physical contact with intent in most jurisdictions. Assault is a more complex law. Battery is clear.
“Well, the way I saw it, he did touch her. And C-SPAN video is certainly not doctored...”
It was more than a simply “touch” which can be rationalized as inadvertent. This was not, it was a purposeful abrupt arm shove with enough force to cause the interns elbow to go downward several inches and initiate her retreat.
He was somewhat clever in the move as to NOT draw attention to it but the video makes clear what actually transpired.
