Look at the CSPAN video on post #8. There is NO DOUBT that he aggressively pushed down on the women’s arm with at least enough force to elicit a incredulous reaction from the intern.
If you only “think” he touched her, you are either functionally blind or an imbecile.
I watched it live and he damn well touched her and pushed her arm away from the mic in his hand!!!!
If this is an admission that all the "big boys" fake and manipulate what they put on the airs, fine, but since it's not it's nothing but more vomit coming from the mouth of the Hollywood/New York/DC democrat lying machine.
“Acosta karate chopped, albeit softly”
A soft karate chop. That’s probably what they teach the kids in karate class.
Looking at the original video closer, I realize (puts on martial arts glasses):
1. Acosta first performs a BLOCK, bringing his hand down to stop further movement of her arm.
2. Acosta then performs a CHAMBER move, rotating his hand to strengthen his arm’s position (while maintaining contact).
3. Acosta then performs a STRIKE move (beginning while in contact), pushing her arm away.
4. The intern’s subsequent expression (”WTF?”) confirms this wasn’t mere contact.
Whether this was a trained sequence or not isn’t clear, but there are multiple distinct steps in his movement, with each having articulable purpose.
CNN isn’t the only media source for the video clip. I saw it live when it happened and what Sarah Sanders is saying happened is accurate. What is this 1984?
I made the point about his actions making her body turn to Maggie on Twitter last night
I haven’t been on Twitter today yet I’ll have to go and see if she blocked me for telling the truth and exposing her paper for their fake news
“What is this 1984”
-
I wish it was. :-)
.
There’s a Dem U S Congressman claiming Trump made Acosta do it. Well which is it? Either it happened the way the Congressman said or it didn’t?
“The truth will eventually out.”
Not neccessarily in our media though.
I find their *unanimous* treatment of this misleading and scary.
Acosta did not assault her, but he was physically boorish and went beyond reasonable behavior.
Fake News goes too far here, the media has to accept standards of behavior, and factuality, that we all can accept- though we may disagree on import or interpretation.
This is the logical result of the continuum that started with Sam Donaldson shouting at Ronald Reagan and hopefully ends with Acosta refusing to give up the mic.
Barely brushing her arm would not have moved her body off to the side like his pushing her arm down did
Sure there are lots of reasons to keep Acosta out forever and his contact with this intern is one of them
There was a time not long ago when young journalists were taught not to become the story. Apparently, many news organizations have flipped that lesson on its head.....But we are witnessing something ‘more insidious’ here than media trash talk. Plain and simple,.... we are watching ‘expressions of personal hatred.’
....Political bias is an insufficient explanation for the Jim Acostas of our time....They hate Trump. They really, really hate him. Theres nothing professional about it!
What they did was hijack a presidential press conference to suit his own ego’s and argue their opinions....chasing their ow vanity....

The continuum actually started with Dan Rather and Richard Nixon. It’s what earned him Cronkite’s anchor chair.
It is true he barely touched her, but legally he is not allowed. Try that with a liberal Senator, or policeman. See what happens. People should not use physical force unlawfully.
Yes, Secret Service should have intervened to protect the White Hourse intern. Further, Acosta should be charged with assault.
“the damnable Lying Leftist Fake Stream Enemedia has now gone full Soviet UNION “1984” propaganda,”
They can get away with it, too, when nearly all media and internet sources are goosestepping to the left.
Whats really dangerous is other news agencies trying to figure out if Acosta’s behavior toward the President and the staff was wrong or not. That’s really really dangerous.
