House Democrats have a Plan B to make sure Robert Mueller’s findings in the Russia investigation see the light of day if President Trump fires the special counsel, a report said.
Democrats, who regained control of the House in Tuesday’s midterm elections, are preparing for a Saturday Night Massacre situation in which Trump fires top Justice Department officials in an attempt to quash Mueller’s investigation.
In that scenario, Democratic officials told Politico, Mueller would be immediately summoned to Capitol Hill, where he would testify about his findings on national television.

This Whitaker guy doesn't even need Mueller anymore. Sessions' recusal is moot because he's no longer the AG, so there isn't even a need to have Rod Rosenstein involved anymore, either.

My suggestion would be tell Mueller to file his damn report within 60 days and get on with it.
He has hesitated to do certain things because they, Dems and Repubs both, had threatened to impeach him. The threat of impeachment, with your own party threatening to not back you, is something that has weight to it.
But now that he has a stronger cleaner senate, and now that they have said flatly they will impeach him no matter what, the subject of impeachment loses its impact. They didn’t see this coming. He is now immune from their threats of impeachment, because they made it a certainty.
According to Chris Matthews it will be a ‘Saturday Night Live Massacre’.
I’m pretty sure the law is for him to provide his report directly to the AG, who is to decide if, when and how to release it.

Mueller is a member of the Executive Branch. He would need approval to tell anything covered by Executive Privilege (if anything is).
Other limits on what a prosecutor can discuss would also apply.
But any attempt to uphold the law and the Constitution would infuriate the Dem mobs...
