A Georgetown University professor who wished for violence against white Republican men went after conservatives again last week on Twitter.
C. Christine Fair, who is on administrative leave after the first violent tweet, called Fox News employees “terrorists” on Oct. 28, according to the Washington Free Beacon.
“When your plane lands late, you and your colleagues are met on the tarmac, and ferried to the Presidential Palace for an intimate dinner with the president,” Fair wrote on Twitter. “Thanks Fox News Terrorists!”

She doubled down on her nasty rhetoric in response to a request for comment from The College Fix, a conservative news site devoted to campus news. She accused The Fix, Fox News and other “conservative muckrakers” of trying to initiate “stochastic terrorism,” which she defined as “the use of mass communications to incite random actors to carry out violent or terrorist acts or threaten to do so.”
Fair treated the request as a threat, saying she had alerted her dean and the chief of security to The Fix’s request for comment. She called it “brewing shenanigans.”
“… you and your ilk have literal blood on your hands,” she told The Fix in her concluding remarks.
In October, Fair tweeted that white Republican men deserve “miserable deaths” for supporting Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. She said white Republican men should die and women should “castrate their corpses and feed them to swine.” She also described Kavanaugh as a “serial rapist,” even though one of his accusers later admitted to making up the story and the veracity of other accusations also are being questioned.
Georgetown placed Fair on “research leave” after the “castration” tweet. Twitter also suspended her account for 12 hours.
In an email to students, Joel Hellman, dean of the Walsh School of Foreign Service, addressed Fair’s vile comments: “This has been a challenging moment for our community, as we balance our unwavering commitment to free speech and expression with the need to ensure civil and respectful discourse.
“We can and do strongly condemn the use of violent imagery, profanity, and insensitive labeling of individuals based on gender, ethnicity or political affiliation in any form of discourse. Such expressions go against our core values,” Hellman wrote.
Fair has a history of making offensive comments on social media, having once told a Muslim Trump supporter “f— off” and “GO TO HELL.”
