Former first lady Michelle Obama reportedly rips President Trump’s spreading of the “birther” conspiracy theory against her husband in her upcoming book.
In excerpts from her memoir “Becoming” obtained by The Washington Post, Obama says she will “never forgive” Trump for the “xenophobic” claims that her husband, former President Obama, was not actually born in America.
“The whole thing was crazy and mean-spirited, of course, its underlying bigotry and xenophobia hardly concealed,” the former first lady writes. “But it was also dangerous, deliberately meant to stir up the wingnuts and kooks.”

She should look at the facts before deciding that millions of people in the United States were fools.
I felt her husband was lying about who he was back then - maybe for status... maybe because he thought it worked better than being someone raised in an upper-class home in Hawaii...or he wasn't identifying with his grandmother at the time... whatever. But there was some cause for confusion considering the job he was running for. If the press had been honest they would have looked at the evidence - and most likely - dismissed it as a college kid wanting to appear more exotic.
I remember when Obama ran for Senator from Illinois. The news magazine I read it in praised the USA for being so great a nation that a man who was “Born in Kenya” could run for Senate.
A few years later Obama ran for President, and I thought..”How can he do that! He was ‘born in Kenya!’”
LOL! Obviously millions were and are fools. He resided in the WHITE HOUSE for two terms and look at the HOR race and the nail biters in AZ and FL for the senate. See, millions of fools. Hmmm. Appear more exotic. Like padding ones resume to foist the lie that one is part indigenous American for an extra edge in getting hired by some hoity toity college? LOL!
We were all obviously wrong. Cause that’s what deplorable folks do. Get it wrong. Cause we’re idiots. Or something. ;-)
