An old missionary told us years ago the reason that the communists in South America would kill and persecute the Christians. The reason: Christians were content wherever they were, and the communists needed the populace to be unhappy and agitating for change.
That is the role of Alinsky’s “community organizers/agitators.” They continually need to make people to be unhappy with their current situation, so that they will want to make a change and give the Leftists more power.
