Exactly. The issue was many were going to a port of entry, claiming asylum and then getting processed. However, large numbers were skipping all of that and just crossing illegally, and if they were caught they would yell ASYLUM. This is an important step to stop the claims of asylum that did not go through the entry at the border crossing with permission and being checked out. The worst are those that skip the process, most turn out to be criminals.

This all has to be worked on, but this was important.

Sessions supported Trump to become president. He selected him over Cruz. He did not appoint himself attorney general.
